Who's Behind GambleClear, and How We Research

Here's what this site is, how it's put together, and where the information on it comes from.

Who writes GambleClear

GambleClear is an independent project covering crypto casinos, built for players who want the fees, currencies, and game mechanics laid out clearly before they sign up anywhere. It isn't owned or funded by any casino operator. In one line: GambleClear publishes independent crypto casino reviews and guides, compiled from operators' published terms, regulator documents and sourced reporting. It is an affiliate site, not a gambling operator: it earns a commission when readers sign up to Gamdom through its links (code jaketakesoff), and says so on every page.

How we research each platform

Our coverage is compiled from each operator's own published terms and help documentation, publicly available policy pages, and how the underlying systems (provably fair verification, blockchain network confirmation times, KYC thresholds) generally work. We update pages when bonus terms, fees, or policies change materially.

Our rating methodology

Where we score or rank a casino, we weigh five factors, consistently applied across every platform we cover:

25%
KYC friction

How much identity verification is required to deposit, play, and withdraw at normal amounts.

20%
Provable fairness & trust

Whether games are independently verifiable, and how transparent the operator is about odds/house edge.

20%
Crypto support & speed

Breadth of supported currencies and typical network-level deposit/withdrawal speed.

20%
Game variety

Depth of in-house originals plus breadth of slots/live-dealer library.

15%
Licensing

Jurisdiction held and what player protections that license does or doesn't require.

Scores built from this methodology reflect published terms and documentation, not hands-on play-testing; see the note on each review page for what that specific page is based on. We publish the criteria openly so you can weigh them differently than we do if your priorities differ (for example, weighting licensing higher if regulatory protection matters more to you than KYC friction).

How we make money

Some links on this site are affiliate links, meaning we earn a commission if you sign up through them. Full details are on our affiliate disclosure page. This funds the site; it does not change what we publish.
