Is Gamdom Safe and Legit? What Its License, Fairness System, and Security Practices Actually Say

Quick answer

Gamdom is a real, long-running operator: online since 2016, run by Moon Revolution Limitada and licensed in Anjouan (ALSI-152406043-FI4) after its Curacao license lapsed in December 2025. Its in-house games are provably fair, so you can check results yourself. The catch is that Anjouan is a light offshore license, so you get far less player protection than at a UK- or Malta-licensed casino. One fresh caution: on October 13, 2026 Gamdom took the site offline after a breach of its hot-wallet system. Its founder put the loss at just over $3 million and Gamdom says user funds are safe, but nobody has independently verified that. The site came back online on October 16 after more than two days down.

"Is this site legit" is the first question most people ask before depositing anywhere, and it's a fair one for an industry with a real history of operators disappearing with player funds. This page pulls apart what "legit" actually means for Gamdom specifically: what its license does and doesn't cover, how its fairness system can be checked, how it handles funds and account security, and what to watch for regardless of which casino you choose.

What Gamdom's Anjouan license actually means

Gamdom's terms name Moon Revolution Limitada, a company registered in Costa Rica (registration number 3-102-903008, Escazú, per Gamdom's help center), as the operator, under a gaming license issued by the Autonomous Island of Anjouan in the Union of Comoros (ALSI-152406043-FI4). For most of its history Gamdom held a Curaçao license; the Curaçao Gaming Authority's public register lists its most recent Curaçao license as expired since December 2025. Several crypto casinos have moved to Anjouan as Curaçao tightened its rules.

It is a real license, but a light one. It does not carry the player-protection requirements attached to a Tier-1 regulator like the UK Gambling Commission or Malta Gaming Authority, such as mandatory segregated player-fund accounts, a statutory dispute-resolution body, or regular compliance audits, and it is lighter-touch than Curaçao's reformed regime too. Anjouan's public register is also not a reliable way to confirm a license is current: independent reviewers have found it marking expired entries as valid. Read it as "a real business operating under a light regulatory regime," not as a guarantee. That is why the provably fair system and Gamdom's long payout track record below carry more weight than the license itself. How provably fair actually functions as a trust signal

The strongest verifiable-trust signal Gamdom offers isn't the license, it's that you don't have to take its word for game fairness at all. Gamdom's help center (Gamdom Originals, updated September 2, 2026) says every Original is provably fair: Crash, Dice, Plinko, Mines, HiLo, Keno, Roulette and Pocket Dice. Outcomes come from a chain of 10 million SHA256 hashes generated in advance from a secret server seed, so results are fixed before anyone bets, and each game's hash can be checked against the one before it. Most Originals have a verifier link, and Gamdom puts their RTP at around 99%. See our full provably fair explainer for the step-by-step mechanics, and our Crash game guide for how this applies to Gamdom's most-played Original specifically. This is a fairness guarantee, not a profitability one: it proves the house didn't cheat a specific round, not that the house edge stops applying.

How Gamdom handles funds

Deposits and withdrawals move directly on-chain in the cryptocurrency you choose, rather than through a converted, custodial fiat balance sitting with a third party. In practice that means your funds are either in your own wallet or reflected as an in-app balance you can withdraw on request, subject to the processing and review steps covered in our withdrawal times breakdown. Because crypto transactions are irreversible once confirmed, your own wallet hygiene, meaning using unique, verified withdrawal addresses and not reusing compromised wallets, matters as much as anything the casino itself does. This is true of every crypto casino, not a Gamdom-specific risk. What it also means: any balance you leave on the site is held by Gamdom, not by you, and it is only as safe as Gamdom's own wallet security and reserves.

The October 2026 hot-wallet breach

On October 13, 2026, between roughly 15:50 and 16:50 UTC, Gamdom's hot wallets on five blockchains sent more than $2.3 million to newly created wallets, according to on-chain tracker FairGambling, which put Gamdom's hot-wallet holdings at about $10.5 million on October 12 and about $76,000 a day later. Gamdom took the whole platform offline that evening. In a post on X it said a suspected disk failure on one server led it to find an unauthorized connection on one of its automation servers, and that user funds are safe.

Founder Felix Roemer then said on X that a breach had hit the hot-wallet system, that the team stopped the drain, and that just over $3 million was lost; he said the site would come back after final checks. An on-chain investigator quoted by Cryptopolitan estimates the loss at about $4.2 million, and nobody has explained the gap. Gamdom hasn't published a post-mortem or said whether player data was exposed. Gamdom came back online at 00:34 UTC on October 16, after more than two days dark, per FairGambling. Its relaunch post offered every player bonuses as compensation (a 20% deposit bonus for existing users, restarted reload bonuses, two $45,000 daily competitions and a $50,000 giveaway) but didn't address the gap between the two loss figures or name the attacker.

What it means for you: Gamdom says the loss came from its own hot wallets and that player balances are safe, but nobody has independently verified that. The site is back, but a relaunch bonus isn't proof of reserves. Before depositing again, check that withdrawals are going through normally (a small test withdrawal tells you more than any statement), and don't keep more on the site than you're playing with. Bonuses also come with wagering terms, so read them before opting in. Hot-wallet hacks have hit several big crypto casinos (Stake in 2023, Duelbits in September 2026), and the ones that paid players in full did so from their own reserves, which no offshore license requires them to hold. We'll update this page when Gamdom publishes more.

Account security practices worth using

Gamdom supports two-factor authentication through an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator or Authy. Once it's on, a code is needed to log in, withdraw and send tips, and losing the device means emailing support@gamdom.com from the address linked to the account. If an account is compromised, Gamdom's procedure is to close it as a precaution, have you change your Gamdom and email passwords, clear cache and cookies and run a virus scan, then reopen it once you confirm by email.

The bigger risk is usually impersonation. Gamdom's help center says it has no official mobile app, that any app using its name (including one that appeared on the iOS App Store) is fake and used by scammers, that staff won't ask you to deposit to a wallet address over social media, and that moderators don't handle issues through Discord DMs. Add a unique password and paste withdrawal addresses only from your own wallet, and you've covered the basics. These matter more here than on a fiat site because crypto withdrawals can't be reversed or charged back. Our Gamdom app and mobile guide has the 2FA steps.

Signals that generally separate a legitimate operator from a scam site

Because "is it legit" comes up for every crypto casino, not just Gamdom, it's worth naming the general checklist rather than treating this as Gamdom-specific praise. A legitimate operator publishes a real, checkable license number, has operated long enough to have a public track record rather than appearing overnight, runs a fairness system you can independently verify rather than asking you to trust it, and has visible, ongoing relationships with known streamers, affiliates, or media rather than anonymous promotion alone. Gamdom checks each of those boxes based on its published information and multi-year operating history. Red flags on any site, Gamdom included, would be a license that doesn't resolve to a real registry entry, a fairness system with no verification tool, no public operating history before a recent launch, or withdrawal terms that change without notice. None of those apply to Gamdom as of this writing (a security breach is a different kind of risk, covered above), but it's worth knowing what to check yourself rather than taking any review, including this one, on faith.

What this page doesn't claim

This breakdown is compiled from Gamdom's published terms, licensing information, and help documentation, the same sourcing standard used across this site; see our about and methodology page for how that research process works. It is not a claim of hands-on account testing, and it doesn't guarantee you'll have zero issues, individual withdrawal disputes and support delays happen at every operator in this space, including well-established ones. Treat this as a starting framework for evaluating trust signals, not a substitute for reading Gamdom's current terms yourself before you deposit.

Frequently asked questions

Is Gamdom a scam?

Nothing in Gamdom's published terms, licensing, or operating history points to it being a scam. It has operated continuously since 2016, first under a Curaçao license and now under an Anjouan license, runs provably fair games that players can independently verify, and pays out through standard crypto withdrawal rails. That's different from a guarantee of zero problems: like any gambling platform, individual disputes and delayed withdrawals do happen, so treat any single anecdote with the same caution you'd apply to any operator. Being legitimate also isn't the same as being hack-proof: Gamdom lost just over $3 million in a hot-wallet breach in October 2026, per its founder.

What license does Gamdom hold?

Gamdom's current terms name Moon Revolution Limitada as operator and an Anjouan gaming license (ALSI-152406043-FI4), issued by the Union of Comoros. It previously held a Curaçao license; the Curaçao Gaming Authority's register lists its most recent one as expired since December 2025. Anjouan is an offshore license with lighter oversight than Curaçao's reformed regime, and far lighter than a Tier-1 regulator such as the UK Gambling Commission or Malta Gaming Authority.

How can I verify Gamdom's games aren't rigged?

Gamdom says every Original (Crash, Dice, Plinko, Mines, HiLo, Keno, Roulette, Pocket Dice) is provably fair. Results come from a pre-generated chain of 10 million SHA256 hashes, so they are fixed before you bet, and you can check each game's hash against the previous one with Gamdom's verifier links or an independent tool.

Was Gamdom hacked?

Yes. On October 13, 2026 Gamdom took its site offline after finding an unauthorized connection on one of its servers. Founder Felix Roemer said a breach of the hot-wallet system cost just over $3 million (an on-chain investigator estimates about $4.2 million). Gamdom says user funds are safe; that hasn't been independently verified, and the site came back online on October 16, 2026 after more than two days down.

Is my money safe on Gamdom?

Deposits and withdrawals move on-chain in the coin you choose, but any balance you keep on the site is held by Gamdom. On October 13, 2026 a breach of Gamdom's hot-wallet system cost it just over $3 million, per its founder; Gamdom says user funds are safe, though that hasn't been independently verified. The site came back online on October 16. Keep only what you're playing with on the site, and use 2FA, a unique password and withdrawal addresses copied from your own wallet.
